Shelley Dechene was delighted to announce that the event raised $ 300 by offering soup, a bun and dessert for $ 20. There were 48 seats for a sit-down dinner.

They will be holding two more fundraisers on Saturday January 22 and March 5.

Tickets for future events cost $ 20 and are available by contacting [email protected] – Ticket purchase deadline three days before the event.

The event includes cocktails from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (dinner includes four hearty homemade soups, bread rolls and assorted desserts), followed by karaoke from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (over 2,200 songs of your choice).

Spectators are welcome to join the event, and a $ 5 karaoke-only registration fee is also an option. It’s a cash bar.

All Covid protocols in place must be double vaccinated to attend.

“Everyone is welcome,” Dechene said. “They don’t have to be singers to have a great night of entertainment. For people who like to sing, this is a great way because they have musical accompaniment.

“The curling club is a non-profit organization and in order to keep things going we have to fundraise or try to get grants to make it happen,” she concluded. “Thank you for helping us achieve this goal. “
