Brooklyn Comes Alive Announces Live Stream of Full Break Science Band [Watch]

Brooklyn comes to life announced the first streaming of the entire show Break Science Live Group set from the September 2021 event.

Tune in to the full Break Science Live Band Brooklyn Comes Alive show tonight, Wednesday, October 13 at 8 p.m. ET via or on Facebook via Brooklyn Comes Alive, Break Science and Live for live music pages.

The sprawling performance Brooklyn Mirage came as part of a one-day musical marathon featuring nationally touring groups, never-before-seen collaborations and more. For a full rundown of the Brooklyn Comes Alive 2021 festivities, go here.

As the sun set over the city that day, offering breathtaking views of the skyline from the venue’s imposing footbridge, Science Break took over the BCA scene with an unprecedented live band lineup with the core duo Adam deitch (battery) and Borahm Lee (keyboards, production) alongside the turntable player Chris Karns, bass player Hunter Roberts, and trumpeter Eric “Benny” Bloom (Salad).

Lee, in particular, shone in this new lineup. With his left hand freed by Roberts and his production duties reinforced by Karns, Borahm was able to show more of his mastery of the classical piano. The result was a refreshing, jazz / soul oriented sound that seemed to gleefully challenge the harsher, dubstep style for which Break Science has long been known.
